This retreat is open to anyone with previous experience of meditation.

Practicing meditation in a retreat environment is a special opportunity to refine our practice, enhance our understanding and simply enjoy a taste of the peace of mind and deep sense of well being that meditation brings.
The retreat will include; inspirational video of teachings by Sogyal Rinpoche, extended periods of meditation and silence, in-depth meditation instruction and clarification through questions/answers with experienced instructors.
Also included is walking meditation and other light exercises, sessions focusing on how to integrate our practice in daily life and optional participation in daily Loving Kindness practice.

Andrew Warr is one of Rigpa’s senior-most instructors. He has been studying and practising Buddhism since 1984. He travels widely in Europe, North America and Australia giving courses and retreats. He regularly leads short retreats in Dzogchen Beara in West Cork, and is active in designing Rigpa courses. He has specialized in teaching Loving kindness.
