A day retreat with Andrew Warr
Over 2,500 years ago, the Buddha taught the meditation for cultivating Loving Kindness through which we can develop an increasingly deep, pervasive and unconditional love that completely transcends our normal limitations. This process starts with developing a more healthy and loving relationship with ourselves and then extends out into all our relationships and ultimately to all beings. Then, when our heart and mind are filled with love, we will naturally experience happiness and well-being.
Loving kindness is a practice which has proved tremendously helpful to both those who are already experienced in other forms of meditation and those who are completely new to meditation. The weekend will provide the tools to establish loving kindness as a source of nourishment and well-being in our life and to integrate it meaningfully into our everyday reality.
