The evening consists of two parts with a 15 minute tea-break in-between
Part 1: Meditation (7.45 pm – 8.45pm)
Suitable for anyone who wishes to learn to meditate or for those wanting to refresh, refine or maintain their meditation practice. Whilst the focus of these sessions is on meditation practice, the session will also include video teachings offering instruction on various aspects of meditation practice.
If you are a newcomer and wish to attend just the meditation session, that is possible, please feel free to contact us.
Part 2: The Eight Verses of Training the Mind (9.00pm – 10.00 pm)
The Eight Verses belong to a category of teaching called lojong [Tibetan]. The essential meaning of the term lojong, is ‘training or transforming the mind’. In today’s uncertain world where fear and anxiety are so prevalent, these profound teachings offer everyone a way to take the difficulties of life onto their path of spiritual development.
Everyone is welcome, and no previous experience is necessary.
Suggested Weekly Fee : €10 standard or €6 concession
Please do not let finances be an obstacle to you attending. If you are facing financial difficulties then please let us know and we will work something out.
