Planning permission has been granted for Ireland’s first Buddhist temple which is due to be built in Dzogchen Beara.

It was auspicious that the planning permission was received during the summer retreat with Sogyal Rinpoche.

Like the temple at Lerab Ling, the temple at Dzogchen Beara will be built in the style of a traditional Tibetan monastery, a unique form of architecture that is an inspiring symbol of the Buddha’s teachings.
